So I updated my gentoo system and was happy to see an updated nVidia driver. The 169.12 version wasn’t all that good: it was stable but didn’t really deliver any speed. Compiz was unusable, it took 2 seconds to maximize a window (with a quadro fx 570m). Compiz is so much smoother with an Intel X3100 card. The update fixes some problems (window resizing is now endurable) but is still way behind the intel card. Shame on you nVidia!
